The Peak district is your best area from Manchester, although North Wales isn't too far. Check out http://ukbouldering.com for more in depth info.

Seriously good effort on the site dude. Made my first trip to the place on saturday just using a few printoffs from the site and it exceeded my expectations! Suprised noone was about as conditions were really not that bad! Did a few ace problems but was totally stumped by groundhog trying to go from a very small right hand crimp to the obvious top hold! Seemed a huge move and very hard for V6 but maybe I'm missing something!

You have made a valiant attempt and it looks good. However, this does not escape the fact that if Brownstones had a fight with Pex then Brownstones would get its face kicked off.

Well done Gareth my only comment, is the break used for hands at the start is
out of bounds. I dont mean to be picky cos you have done an excellent job,
(typical brownstones eliminate comment "cant use that"

No no, not picky. I did this as I was mislead into thinking it was Corn Mantel. I'l re-do it properly whenever it stops raining.

Hmm not sure about this, as far as I am aware (and this shouldn't be taken as gospel) corn mantel involves a lay back to the left of where you're starting here to gain the obvious mantel shelf to the right of unjust then follow the direct crack above, the climb you're doing I was messing on tonight is poss a more direct start on hopper avoiding the left hand arete holds, I'll find out for sure and get back. Good work though.

No reason why not I suspose, the line in the brick is drawn all the way up crack, personally I think you're right and as long as the line is taken it shouldn't matter by what means you get up it.

I only used a back-up rope on Inferno as I didn't trust the top blocks and they felt a bit wobbly. It was actually OK. I've topped out on all the problems in the videos, but I wouldn't usually top out on some of them. Some top outs are not justifiable/ unsafe. A personal decision at the end of the day.

And, yes, I've skinned myself loads when that left foot pops. Ouch.

"Yep, match fat undercut, and using small footholds, slap rh up, then again. Bring lh up to lower slot. I then stepped right foot through to the edge and lh to the sidepull (this move was the crux for me). I'm sure different sequences are possible, but no foot or handholds on Big Muff are used." OK, so you stay more directly under the holds, rather than starting out further rightish - I get it. I'll pay a visit and give it a working. I'm quite into the LBW at the moment and back doing the L to R traverse to about a third of the way along, which gets overlooked but is excellent, technical and pumpy - give it go, I'm sure you will enjoy it. Cheers Robin
